Lost and Alone

I knew she couldnt hurt me, she was so small. I smiled "Im...human."

I nodded. "I sensed that." I took my tiny hand from her cheek. "Ariana, right?"

I nodded "How did you know?"

I blushed. "I...erm...kinda evesdropped on the conversation.."

I giggled "Its okay. It wasnt a secret." I want sure why, but I felt so comphortable around the little fairy. Maybe it was because she was smaller then me. I dont know

I smiled, and flew around in small circles a couple times, I probably looked like a small blue blur of light. Ari made me excited for a reason I didn't know. I looked at her. "Want to see some water tricks?"

I smiled "Sure." I said, wondering what kind of tricks such a little being could do

I smiled, and pointed one really tiny finger towards the water. "We must head to the water first. Follow me!" I giggled, the sound coming out as bells, and I darted to the water, excited to show my new friend some of my water powers.

I smiled and skipped to where the water was. I saw how exited she was, so was I. I felt so...myself around her. Like I didnt have to pretend to be someone I wasnt

I flew, and landed right on the water. I was literally standing on it. I gently touched the water, and it began to form into a ball in my hands.

I sat down, watching her have fun with the water. When it started to form I gasped "How cool!"

I smiled, and started to hum as I worked. I flew a little higher, and let go of the water. It stayed in the air by itself. I twirled around, the water following me, and it began to make images out of the curves and patterns I made.

I smiled and giggled,"Thats so cool!" I repeated

I finished, and the water went back to normal. I went over to Ari, and purched on her shoulder. "My job is to take care of the water surrounding this island. I nurse it and take care of it, and the animals who live in it's depths."

Her voice sounding like a small rining noise. It tickled my ear as it came out. I smiled "How long have you lived on this island?"

I closed my eyes as I replied, envisioning the years in my mind again. "I've been here my whole life. Which would be 17 years. The island is my home. I've never been off of it."

I grimanced at the thought of living here for my whole life "What about your parents?"

I shivered a bit at the mention of my parents. "My parents came here 20 years ago. They had been fleeing my home land. My kind, the water fairies were at war with the snow fairies. My kind was loosing, so my father got himself and his love, my mother, out. On their way to their destination, they grew weary, and ended up here." I looked down at the ground. "They both went missing just recently."

I frowned "Im so sorry."

I sighed, and forced a smile. "Well, I aim to find them sometime."

Do i smell a...human? A smirk of desire twisted on my pale, "sweet", little face.

I suddenly smelled something. My tiny nose wrinkled in disgust, and flew infront of my new friend. "vampire!!"

"What?" I asked. Did she really say 'vampire'?

I work quickly, as quick as my small wings could take me. I opened a pathway through the water, to the very bottom. There was a small cave in it I flew into it, and did a spell to seal it with oxogen. I then motioned for her to get inside. "Vampire!" I hissed again. Trying to stress to her, how dangerous a vampire would be to a human.
